PG Anthony Clemmons from Michigan. Teammate of 2012 MSU commit, and 5th member of the class. Sounds like Fran is going to go after a big target for the last 'ship left in the 2012 class, and if he doesn't get one he will probably bank it for next year.

Arguably the best (especially in recent memory) recruiting class in a long time. Two top 100 recruits in Mike Gesell (sp?) and Adam Woodbury, A 6' 9" big that can shoot it from Atlanta in Kyle Meyer, and a under the radar combo guard from Indiana in Patrick Ingram. With two open scholarships it is tough to gauge what Fran has in store for the rest of the class, but this class has a chance to take this team to another level. I really like the depth and quality Fran and staff have added in so little time. Looking forward to the Iowa Basketball season!

Hope all of the local Hawk fans can make it out to Carver Hawkeye Arena, and support the team after back to back Big 10 wins. The team has really played hard the last couple of games and it would be great if we could reward them with a home-court advantage Wednesday. It would be nice to hear from some other Hawk fans to get some chatter going in this group. Go Hawks!

I'm hoping the Hawks play well enough to get their first conference win today. We had a tough schedule to open conference play, so it would be nice if the team could play well enough today to create some momentum for the middle of the big ten schedule.

How do all the Hawk fans feel about the season so far?My opinion, a rough start in the conference season due to a tough schedule from the get go. We played terribly defensively against NW at home, and that would be the lowlight of the conference season so far. (Besides being winless and at the bottom of the conference). The highlight of the conference season so far was how well we played against then #2 OSU at home. We played them very tough, but eventually fell short. For the non-conference the lowlight would be losing a close one at home to in-state rival ISU. The highlight would be having a winning record coming out of non-conference play and going 2-1 against in-state rivals. 
I really like how Gatens has become a dependable scorer, I think he has elevated his game and is playing pretty well. I hope the Freshman can keep improving, May recovers from his injury quickly, and we can cut down on stupid turnovers.
